The Efficacy of Online Learning with John Watson | Joel Backon

Online learning reemerged from its niche roles during COVID by necessity. John Watson, principal of Evergreen Research and the Digital Learning Collaborative, shares his deep wisdom regarding the applications of online learning in K-12 education. While he does not believe that online will become the primary delivery mechanism for K-12 students, he does forecast that online delivery will become more prevalent in schools as a means of solving specific problems (curriculum, student health, schedule constraints, etc.). He also shares that online delivery should always be an option for students who thrive in such an environment.
